Jon Russell continues to comment under a fake face: Jessica Bowen.

Since Russell has scammed a temporary gig working for people who haven't gotten to know him yet, he's gone almost completely dark.

That is, it's hard to find statements attributed to him directly. Few quotes in the newspaper... practically no comments on their web sites.

In the past, Russell has been known for his multiple fake identities, used so he can shoot off at the mouth at others without having to be responsible for his lies, exaggerations, mischaracterizations and the like.

This blog is replete with documented instances of some of the few of his fake identities. And Jessica Bowen is but another of them.

Following the past pattern, where Russell used a fake sock-puppet identity by the name of "Teacher Judy Banks," Jon Russell is now using another fake identity, this Jessica Bowen person.

There are a few "Jessica Bowens" in Seattle. Here's one.

Now, the question might be asked: how do I know that identity is fake?

Well, it's simple, really.

No one single by the name "Jessica Bowen" is registered to vote anywhere in the Seattle area... entire state. Just like "Judy Banks."

No one is registered to vote in this state by the name of Jessica Bowen who was "Born on June 20, 1981."

Both his fake identities are cute, little and blond.

Oddly enough, the ONLY place "Bowen" comments is the Columbian.

She lives in Seattle is the claim, but.... doesn't comment anywhere... on anything.... but the Columbian?

Why?

How many women list "Red Dawn" as their favorite movie?

As politically active as she appears to be, she doesn't have a single political friend anywhere... but down here.

Russell rather moronically shills for term limits. And so does his sockpuppet "Bowen."

So, keep reading his comments. Just be advised... they're the property of one Washougal City Councilman, Jon Russell... and not a non-existent blond by the name of Jessica Bowen... a name that doesn't exist in the real world.

Jessica Bowen, meet Tracy Hernandez. Tracy Hernandez, meet Jessica Bowen

For several months now, an entity that doesn't exist has been posting on the democratian. It's name?

Jessica Bowen.

I've been postulating that this entity is, in fact, Jon Russell, Washougal city councilman; failed congressional and state representative candidate who has this thing about posting under fake names.

I've addressed this fake identity before, and provided the tie-in with Russell and his original alter-ego, Teacher Judy Banks and then this Bowen identity.

The fake Judy Banks was a foil he could play political games with, until he got too cute by half and I busted him.

He had, sources tell me, as many as 20 different identities on the democratian. The local rag tossed a stick in his spokes, however, when they began to require facebook logins... an, voila'! Jessica Bowen was "born."

This is the fake identity "Jessica Bowen" who, among other things, claims to live in Seattle... and ONLY posts on the democratian web site... and no where else... classic Jon Russell.

But what, to my wandering eyes appear?

Why, the EQUALLY lovely "Traci Hernandez" of Orlando, Florida.

And when I say "equally," I MEAN "equally," since the pictures are of the same person.

Note that the main identity picture for "Tracy Hernandez" is the same as one of the other pictures utilized by "Jessica Bowen."

The links for these two identities are here and here.

One or the other or, likely both, are fake identities.

The question is this: why is one of these fakes an apparent mouthpiece for Jon Russell?

The whole world is watching.

Sorry to disappoint Sarah Russell, but we have yet another fake facebook identity, Jessica Bowen, used to comment by Russell

One of the stranger aspects of Sarah Russell's comment where she confirmed that Russell was a lying scumbag who used fake names to comment on blogs and newspaper comment sections, was her claim that
SO, Here's for one: Jon Russell may have used aliases and fake names in the past but has not commented, blogged or otherwise produced written material under any fake names for over 6 months.
The dynamics in Russell's marriage are had to discern. But one dynamic is that Russell is lying to his own wife, because I believe that the identity "Jessica Bowen" is, in fact, Jon Russell. And that would tend to show that Russell is so warped that he's even lying to his own wife about his nefarious activities.

We're also aware of one of the fake identities Russell used on facebook and the democratian for purposes of attacking political opponents, one "Judy Banks." Which leads me to this probability: That another identity of a conservative bent has popped up on facebook, also required to comment on the democratian, a woman by the name of "Jessica Bowen."

Jon Russell talking to himself in the guise of one "Judy Banks."

As we also know, "Judy Banks" facebook page disappeared when I busted Russell by outing him as the face behind the name. And so did any mention of "Banks" on Russell's facebook page.

Sheer coincidence, I'm sure.

"Jessica" indicates she's in Seattle. Odd that, like "Banks," she has no local connection, and feels compelled to comment on our local happenings. Odd that, like "Banks" she has no family members friended. Odd that like "Judy Banks," she's a rather cute blond. Odd that even her initials are the same as "Judy Banks." Odd that she has a friend list not unlike "Banks," which included some rather progressive individuals. Bowen is, of course, "friended" to Jon Russell, also like "Banks."

Odd further that she seems to comment on Russell's pet subjects... the most recent being an immigration beef based on an illegal alien killing John Zupan in a car/motorcycle wreck.

It's likely, though I do not have proof... yet... that this "Bowen" person is, in fact, Jon Russell.

But it has a certain symmetry to it, and it follows Russell's long-established pattern. Russell has, in the past, engaged in this sort of thing and has been so proud of himself that he couldn't help but tell people I know about it.

So, that means he's not only got psychopathic tendencies... it also means he's proud of them.

More to come as I dig deeper.

ANOTHER Facebook casualty: Jon Russell takes down his fake Jessica Bowen page.

Busting Jon Russell for his pathological fake identity fetish isn't a full time gig. It doesn't have to be, given that it's so easy.

But the fact is this: I outed Russell when he was using the fake "teacher Judy Banks" identity, and I outed him for using the Jessica Bowen identity.

And now when you look for the fake Jessica Bowen, what do you get?

Whatever happened to our fair Jessica?

Russell deleted her.

He is, or will be, using other fake identities. And sooner or later, I'm going to get them all.

By now, the democratian knows about this "fake" issue. Why aren't they reporting on it? Identity theft is serious business, isn't it? Particularly when it's an elected official engaging in that peculiar past time?

So.... Jon Russell stops by... again? Seems he's upset over the Bowen Facebook outing getting traction.

So, on more than one occasion, I've busted our resident slimeball south, Jon Russell, for utilizing various fake identities around the net so he can attack or support those in his political sights he's of a mind to engage.

Most recently, I caused questions with proof that there seems to be more than one "Jessica Bowen," Russell's latest alter-ego. He has used identities of made up people in the past.

All so he can keep his public skirts clean, of course.

And, in the interests of full disclosure, so have I; I am, for example, the ubiquitous Kage McClued, an identity I made up to protect Marc Boldt from attack based on MY letters to the editor in the local democratian.

So, what's the difference?

The difference now is that I'm not running for anything. And save my effort to be a PCO, designed entirely to keep Jon Russell or any of his sock puppets from getting any appointment to anything concerning the 18th District, I have no intention of running for anything, with the possible exception of county commissioner, and I'll deal with all of this when that time comes... if it comes.

But if I were ever to speak as either a candidate or an elected official, anyone reading those words would know they came from me.

Unfortunately for the people, that's not a tenet of character that Russell is burdened with,

Russell, on the other hand, has been trying to ditch Washougal and climb the political ladder for years. He won't be successful at it until I'm dead, of course, because my meager efforts have become the clearing house for all things political concerning Russell and those efforts will stand the test of time, remaining on the internet for all eternity as a reminder of what Russell is, and the kind of people he surrounds himself with.

Kelly, your posts are equal to political TMZ for teenage girls in World Comp studies. You suck; I will send an organized volunteer force of Ron Paulers into your precinct, and you will never introduce another retarded bi-law resolution again, because you will not be PCO. 5:54 AMAnonymous

It's up there twice, I suppose, because he got such a kick out of the first effort.

Exclusive of the fact that no one makes you read my stuff, Jon, Kelly Charles doesn't seem to exist, either, but then, that IS Russell's meme: shoot off his mouth without standing behind his words. Even now, no discussion of the merits of the Bowen post or remarks on the bizarre behavior of a person who would engage in these multiple personas... no, just a personal attack against me.

What's problematic for Jon is those darn IP address issues. Easy to trace. And I have it, of course.

In the meantime, let me say this about that.

Even if it were possible for a slimeball like you to organize a healthy goat rope, all I can say is this: bring it.

It's your kind of boastful stupidity, fake names and lies that gives politics a bad name: what was the point of making up yet another fake name and leaving your crap pile here? As you well know, talk is cheap. You'd have been far better off to just trying it while keeping your pie hole shut.

Here's a bulletin, stud: unlike you, I don't need this to make my life complete. If I am not a PCO next time around? Guess what: I'll live.

But it really won't matter, because anything YOU do politically is going to have to go through me.

And I won't be letting that happen.

Because the difference between us is that I'm not running... for anything. You on the other hand, are such a glutton for punishment, you're going to keep coming back... over and over and over...

And over and over again, those voting where you are will continue to know your pathological inability to tell the truth before they mark the ballot.

Russell, finally, leaves.

For an extended period of time (several months), Jon Russell had been skipping many of the the city council meetings that he had a duty to attend, since he was an elected Washougal City Councilman.

No longer.

Jon Russell has finally done what he SHOULD have done months ago, and left the city council.

Here's my review of his political tenure:

The Columbian referred to Russell's time on the council as "controversial."

That's much like accurately describing the editors of the Columbian and their editorial page as "leftist."  While correct as a label, it really doesn't come close to a complete description, nor does it lend itself to the flavor of a pattern of immaturity, deceit and dishonesty that marked Russell's campaigns and his use of Washougal as a prop on his way up the political ladder.

I first met Russell after he'd come out here back in '04 to handle the SW Washington area HROC gig... which was his first disaster.  In '04, then Rep. Jim Dunn (R-17) had been given a kind of "persona-non-gratia" status by Republican Leader Rep. Richard DeBolt (R-20) and Russell's marching orders were to defeat him in the primary.

Russell worked the campaign of then candidate, now first term State Representative Paul Harris (R-17) (Third time was the charm) and it looked like Harris was going to win going away until Russell sent out a mailer for Harris that changed everything as it attacked Dunn for his age and his weight among other things... and Harris lost.

Russell also interfaced with the Richard Curtis campaign that I consulted on.  Ultimately, his efforts proved to be equally disastrous and both Curtis and I worked to, and ultimately was successful in, getting any further involvement in our campaign by Russell ended.

For example, Russell's second phone call to me was a request for Pam Brokaw's social security number.

I did not have that number, didn't want it and didn't need it.  I told Russell that we didn't play politics that way and that we were going to win this fair and square, without engaging in tactics that required an opponent's social security number.

Since that time, I've watched Russell locally.  He's engaged in a pattern of political dirty tricks including multiple fake names and handles that enabled him to, typically, attack political opponents, even after his appointment to the Washougal city council, while protecting his true identity.

He made up information about his wife as a "doctor."  He repeatedly lied about his education, making up fake degrees.

Russell, an alleged conservative, worked on the Port of Vancouver levy on the "for" side, advocating for what would have been the biggest tax increase in this area's history.

He steadfastly refused to take responsibility for any of the Stacee Sellers debacle, and had no knowledge over the subsequent disappearance of $100,000 in city funds even though he chaired the city finance committee.

He made up fake facebook identities that leaned toward small, petite blond women (Teacher Judy Banks and Jessica Bowen)  had surrogates engage in personal attacks (One of Jon's minions went so far as to attempt to get me kicked off the board of a charitable organization in Idaho)

His campaigns, efforts to get out of Washougal all, included a disastrous, unsuccessful run at the 3rd District Congressional seat; now, unfortunately, held by Jaime Herrera... and then a run at the open 18th District House seat that had been held by Herrera as she vacated to move up to Congress.

I'm hearing a wide variety of other interesting rumors in the political game concerning candidates in the upcoming election... but don't have quite enough to go to web, yet.  That said, there's an entire blog devoted to Russell's antics, Jon Russell Watch.

Check it out for more details.

One thing that I appreciate: with Jon Russell's departure to the other side of the country, I can be less concerned about continuing on as a PCO.  Russell was the only reason I wanted the gig... and with him leaving... well, it's going to be interesting.

So, underlying Russell's departure was a sense of relief on the part of many, including me.

Jon Russell is crushed: Post Record now requires Facebook identities to comment.

Except for the fake facebook identities Jon Russell has made up (and he's made up a few) the Post Record acted to end his charade of multiple identities to attack opponents and support sock-puppets.

While this doesn't make it impossible for Russell to continue to lie about who he is when he comments, it does make it more difficult.

Expect the appearance of another of his fake identities, one Jessica Bowen. This post here explains it all.

Oddly, Russell has a thing for cute blondes with the initials J and B... thus his fake identity Judy Banks that I exposed during the last election.

In the meantime, the PR has implemented the policy of their Columbian ownership:
Post-Record unveils new website commenting system

Posting comments will require a Facebook account

Today the Post-Record will launch a new commenting system on its website to improve the reader experience and encourage community members to join the conversation. All readers who wish to comment on www.camaspostrecord.com stories must now use their real name and post their remarks with a Facebook account.

The goal of the change is to bring accountability to website article comments, while also encouraging thoughtful and critical discussion about local topics and items of interest. The concept is similar to what is demanded by letters to the editor in the print edition, which require the author’s name for publication.

Commenters can choose to share their thoughts on local issues with their Facebook friends by posting comments to their walls. Other readers will see the comment on www.camaspostrecord.com, but the commenter’s profile information will not be visible, depending on his or her Facebook privacy settings.

The Post-Record will continue to moderate comments, and will remove those that don’t meet community discussion guidelines. Commenters using fake Facebook accounts and/or names to comment or violate community guidelines will be banned.

Once the changeover to Facebook based commenting takes place, comments made on past articles using the previous system will no longer be visible on the website

You might be wondering: what's Jon Russell been up to?

Readers here know how highly I think of Jon Russell, who I believe represents the absolute worst that politics has to offer.

Detailed here, http://jonrussellwatch.blogspot.com, the years-long psychotic episodes of lies, misleading, exaggeration, incompetence... well, I still get emails from people keeping me in the loop about this guy, because he is all about getting elected... to something... anything... and I have made it my pledge to be there when he actually tries to run.

Russell's own campaigns have been utterly abysmal.  His abortive run for congress was a disaster; his obnoxious run for the House of Representatives here and his subsequent abandonment of his job in Washougal, which, after all, he was only using as a stair-step and campaign prop to bigger and better things was an outright disaster... scandal after scandal, incompetence after incompetence.  Jon Russell Watch details it all.

Well, Russell landed in a bucolic little berg in Virginia named "Culpeper."

He's starting his campaign to get elected to something, because, as his biggest fan, he has GOT to get a title.

So, he's set up the start of a campaign page on facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/FriendsOfJonRussell ) that looks vaguely familiar.

Yeah.

That's what it's all about.

This time, however, he's at least being accurate about his accomplishments, although there's no mention of Washougal on this page... and no mention of, say, Jessica Bowen.

Now he's on a jihad to move the city council election date to November, with a claim of savings and increased participation.

While that may possibly be true, at the end of the day, the idea that he's doing this out of altruism instead of doing it to increase his name familiarity is absurd.

And when he does run... I'm going to be there... educating the people as to what they're actually going to get if he's elected.

Jon Russell is running for Culpeper, VA city council.

Not content with having done a great job of screwing up Washougal, WA while he was an anchor around that city council's neck, Jon Russell, who utilized psychotic fake identities and who exaggerated... repeatedly... his resume' until I busted him... repeatedly... for doing so... now feels compelled to pollute the city council of Culpeper, VA.

Russell, whose tenure on the Washougal city council was marked by the disappearance of tens of thousands of city dollars, the Stacee Sellers scandal, division and controversy, not to mention his multiple and moronic attempts to get out of Washougal via higher office, including getting clobbered during both his congressional AND state representative run still has the political snake hanging from his jugular, and he wants to become somebody, no matter how many cities he has to screw up to get there:

Whose Meal Are You Paying For In Culpeper?

In May of 2013, the Culpeper Town Council voted 7 to 2 in favor of increasing the town's meals tax.

Some estimates show the increase places Culpeper in the top 15% highest meals tax in Virginia. The meals tax increase is to generate $500,000 annually and will pay debt service on the town’s two-year-old police station and the inner loop road construction.
However, when this tax increase was passed, the town had a $700,000 surplus from the 2012 general budget. The meals tax disproportionately hits people on a fixed income and as a result reduces the number of people able to eat in our local restaurants.

I recently had a restaurant owner explain his frustration this way:
"They are taxing my customers to pay for a by-pass that will take customers around my business. This doesn't make sense"
Another restaurant owner expressed a similar concern:
"I just started providing sandwiches for my customers about the same time as this meals tax increase hit. It has made my sandwiches too expensive for some people."
The common sense solution to this problem is for the council to repeal the the meals tax increase and put money back in the pockets of our citizens. This was obviously an overreach by the town and one that can be easily rectified.
Of course, it's likely that the anonymous restaurant owners are likely figments of Russell's imagination, given that he's done that... repeatedly.... before.  But that's not the point.

This is an effort by a guy who wants to whip up anger against incumbents, and then pick one off so he can get the gig... which has been his angle in Culpeper all along.

Fake people is the kind of thing he does.

Shortly after that snivelfest, he comes up with additional posts in a similar vein dated the 27th, the 29th, and the 30th.

This is a guy setting the table to run for city council.  And this blog is going to do all it can to inform the people of Culpeper exactly what they're getting.
